McDonald's Mobile Ordering App | 2014–2017 | Lead Designer
While at Method, I worked for two and a half years leading visual product design on McDonald's mobile ordering app. I joined at the beginning of the client relationship with McDonald's and played a key role in building a global app from the ground up. I lead the design of the app's visual identity under an Executive Creative Director: defining the design system, iconography, and UI components. I lead two cross-functional sprint teams that worked across the entire app. We also lead user testing and research efforts both in NYC and in McDonald's innovation lab in Chicago. The app launched in 119 countries, and is still the number one app in the Food & Beverage category in the App Store.
